“Railway termini are our gates to the glorious and the unknown. Through them we pass out into adventure and sunshine, to them, alas! we return.” - E. M. Forster
We do not promote any particular mode of transport as the solution to all problems. All situations have to be treated on their merits and it is imperative that the most appropriate mode is used for each particular challenge, however in all our considerations we believe that “putting the passenger first” is of paramount importance and schemes should not just be driven by engineering requirements. Our expertise covers rail, Light Rail Transit (LRT), Bus Rapid Ttansit (BRT) and bus and Michael has been instrumental in the development of the East West Rail (EWR) project from Oxford to Cambridge, the first element of which will now be opened in 2013, the Cambridgeshire BRT project (the longest guided busway project in the world due to be opened in early 2010), and was a founding member of BRT UK. As with our approach to project management, our experience and knowledge enables us to bring constructive challenge to traditional approaches to ensure the most appropriate solutions are delivered. This has bought significant benefits to major projects including EWR, CGB, Guanajuato railway in Mexico and the multi modal transportation strategy for a Middle Eastern city.
